Stayed here due to proximity to a wedding venue. Handy footpath straight to venue. Excellent cottage, clean, equipped. Great walks along canal and in to Whittington. Pubs and cafe.

Lovely property in a really good location, hard to believe we were only 15 mins from the motorway.The Old Barn was clean, spacious, well -equipped - a proper home from home. Everything was thought of including loads of electric fans (I brought my own and did not need it!) 2 mins drive into village of Whittington,where there are a couple of pubs, shop etc, 10 mins to the pub we chose, in Huddlesford. Ours was just a short break (5 nights) so still plenty of things we want explore in the area - and we would definitely book the Old Barn again to do it!
