Having lost count of the number of times we have visited the Oaks I don’t know what else to add. Beautiful peaceful location , great local food , wonderful weather. I can always guarantee I will return home refreshed and relaxed. Thank you once again Colin , Ian and Roxie

Back to a quiet country retreat. It has everything you need for relaxation , the only noise is the farmers , a few horse riders and the sheep. The owners went out of their way to make you feel welcome, lovely note on the gate and a fab welcome pack, much appreciated. We didn’t go into town to the supermarkets(a little drive away) but we went to the local farm shops where the quality of the food was second to non. Friendly locals around to ask questions. Lovely woodland walks for the dogs s short drive away. Beautiful x

Cottage clean & comfortable. Amenities good. The outside a bit run down. The decking a trip hazard. The table outside covered with old bird droppings. The sitting /dining area dark due to hedging over the windows . Car park would have been tight if there had been two cars. The area is a bir remote & some local roads frightening. Out of 5 local pubs 3 had closed for good & 1 stopped searving food at 6.
