Reviewers consistently mention the lodge's cleanliness, describing it as spotless and well maintained, which indicates a high standard of cleanliness throughout the property.

The location is frequently described as peaceful, beautiful, and convenient for exploring Shropshire, with a nice cafe and local pubs nearby, contributing to a high location rating.

The lodge is generally found to be comfortable, especially the bed, but several guests mentioned the settee being less so, which slightly lowers the comfort score.

Surrounding areas and cleanliness are excellent. Similar to other reviews we found the lounge suite a little uncomfortable but not to the point that it affected the overall experience. We were allowed to check in an hour earlier after contacting the owners. A 4.00pm check in when the surroundings are unfamiliar and its almost dark in winter seems a little late to me. Overall a very relaxing stay.

A fan is available which does help. Otherwise absolutely perfect for a couple.
