The town offers a very good selection of shops, restaurants and bars, along with museums, galleries and the new Theatre Severn. The River Severn is a focal point of the town, offering pleasant riverside walks and pleasure boat trips. From Shrewsbury it is easy to enjoy some of Shropshire's best attractions, from the ten museums at Ironbridge, the wonderful countryside around Church Stretton, or the medieval town of Ludlow.

Had a lovely stay with friends..few things negative things to point out, not sure if the owner is aware of...the bathroom bin has no interior bucket so is unusable, chair in the lounge had a broken leg which had been pushed back into place but came out straight away when we moved the chair slightly to view tv, toilet roll holder broken, no mirror in either bedroom. This said we did have a great time and love Shrewsbury, the few issues need addressing.

The accommodations for us and our daughter were comfortable and the location is ideal for visiting Mum, the Dun Cow and all the shoppping and restaurants in Shrewsbury
