Snaptrip says

Top Farm Cottage in Oswestry, Shropshire, is highly praised for its cleanliness, comfort, and well-equipped nature. Guests appreciate the convenient location with easy access to local amenities and attractions. The cottage's thoughtful touches, such as welcome gifts, add to the pleasant experience, although they are not guaranteed. Some minor feedback on maintenance and information provision suggests room for improvement.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The majority of guests report the cottage as spotlessly clean, with only a few isolated comments about specific areas needing more attention. The positive remarks far outweigh the negatives, indicating high standards of cleanliness.

The cottage is appreciated for its proximity to a local shop, pub, and easy access to tourist spots and the Welsh border. Some guests mention the village's lack of mobile phone communication, but overall the location is well-regarded.

Guests find the cottage comfortable, highlighting the quality of the bed and the cosy atmosphere. A few comments suggest that additional seating or space in certain areas could enhance comfort further.

Reviews consistently mention the cottage as well-equipped, with all necessary amenities for a pleasant stay. However, there are several mentions of a lack of information regarding refuse disposal and recycling, and some minor maintenance issues, which affects the score.

While many guests express gratitude for the welcome gifts, such as milk and biscuits, and appreciate the well-thought-out amenities, there is no guarantee that these gifts will always be provided, and not all reviews mention them.

Ideally located to explore the surrounding areas and into Wales. The biscuits and milk supplied was a extra lovely gesture. Would highly reccomend and hope to be back.

Only 6 mugs one of which is chipped. If you have a dishwasher you need more mugs, they are not expensive and it means you only need to put the dishwasher on maybe once every 2/3 days and save electricity. Was very surprised that there wasn’t a j cloth in the kitchen… not expensive and it does help with the washing up. A boot scraper by the front door would help as there’s no hall to stand in and it will save the front room carpet getting dirty! Also when wiping the kitchen floor on the 3rd day it was black so hadn’t been washed properly for some time!
