Old Church Farm is a spacious, beautifully maintained cottage in a peaceful village setting, perfect for families and groups. Guests consistently praise the well-equipped kitchen, immaculate gardens, hot tub, and thoughtful touches throughout. The property is especially popular with children and dog owners, and the hosts are noted for their excellent communication and attention to detail. While some mention low doorways and limited showers due to the cottage's age, the overall experience is overwhelmingly positive, with many guests eager to return.
Multiple reviews highlight the cottage as spotlessly clean and well maintained, with no negative comments regarding cleanliness.
Guests describe the location as beautiful, peaceful, and ideal for exploring the area, with easy access to local attractions and walks.
The cottage is frequently described as homely, spacious, and comfortable for large groups. Some mention low doorways and worn sofas, but these are minor compared to the overall comfort.
Facilities such as the hot tub, pizza oven, trampolines, and well-equipped kitchen are highly praised. A few guests note the limitation of only one shower and some worn furniture, but these do not detract significantly from the overall experience.
Guests repeatedly mention thoughtful touches such as welcome baskets, gifts, and dog amenities. While these gestures are appreciated, please note that such gifts are not guaranteed for every stay.

Absolutely beautiful cottage, blew us away when we drove in the gates. Gardens gorgeous with plenty of seating area to enjoy Alfresco dining. 2 trampolines for the children and a Wendy house in the garden were a bonus. The hot tub was spotlessly clean. The house itself was lovely and bedrooms all decorated beautifully. The hosts left us a welcome basket with bread, cake, biscuits, honey and juice. Milk was in the fridge as well. That was a lovely touch. There are a lot of internal steps going in and out of the doorways , so not ideal for any elderly guests who might struggle with that. Also, the low doors not ideal for the taller guests, and you have to be on your toes to remember to duck. It is all signposted to help you remember, but the sign going into the kitchen from the dining room is on the door, so when the door is open, you cant see it. My husband banged his head 4 or 5 times so not ideal . All in all though, this certainly wouldn't put us off coming back as we all had the best stay for my 60th birthday, and would book again in a heartbeat đ
