Impressive on the inside and out, internally the lodge has been tastefully renovated with laminate flooring and a number of comfortable furnishings, whilst outside there is a superb outdoor area where you can curl up beside the woodburning stove or enjoy a dip in the hot tub all while admiring those breath-taking views. The open plan living area is where everyone can gather to prepare a hearty feast from the well-equipped kitchen before enjoying a family film upon the sofa. Heading to bed you have two beautifully furnished bedrooms to choose from, one of which benefits from patio doors leading to the garden and offering those same views, which would be a real treat to wake up to! Why not make use of the undercover kitchen area with BBQ and serve a delicious selection of grilled goods? If you can bear to tear yourself away from this delightful dwelling then a trip to Ludlow is recommended, home to a magnificent 13th century castle, plus a great selection of shops, pubs, restaurants, tea rooms and its famous festivals throughout the year. Ludlow is an ancient town with Georgian houses ascending from the river Teme to the great tower of the cross-shaped church. Standing proudly over the town is Ludlow Castle; witness to many a battle over the centuries but none so gripping as the title of ‘Festival Loaf’ at Ludlow Food Festival. Ludlow is known for its shopping, with a great selection of antique, arts and crafts shops and some retailers. There is also a good choice of eateries including a number of restaurants, pubs and tea rooms.
