The accommodation is an annexe to the main farmhouse. The entrance is through a gate to the side of the farmhouse, providing guests with a discreet area for parking the car and for sitting outside. The property, although only 4 miles from the pretty village of Tenbury Wells is in a rural location accessed via very narrow country lanes with occasional passing places. Surrounded by fields it is incredibly tranquil and peaceful. The cottage has a large sitting room, a kitchen/diner with an additional seating area and a good size master bedroom and comfortable twin bedroom. The bathroom is large, the only downside being that the shower is over the bath and there are no grab rails so not ideal for the very young or those at the other end of the age spectrum. The kitchen was well equipped but the units were showing their age and there is limited preparation space. An extractor fan would have been good but we had exceptionally hot weather so could leave the doors and windows open when cooking. The hosts are really pleasant and friendly and on hand to assist if needed but fully respect your privacy. This location is ideal for those wanting a quiet rural location with no street lights, road noise or other distractions, yet within easy reach of a range of attractive towns and villages (Tenbury Wells, Ludlow, Bromyard, Leominster and parts of the Cotswolds or over the border into Wales. Presteigne is particularly pretty and the Judges Lodgings well worth a visit). Croft Castle and other National Trust properties are a short drive from the accommodation.I would certainly consider a return visit.

A beautiful location which was so peaceful and yet just a mile or so from 2 main roads to make it easy to get around the area. The home was very well-stocked and clean and our children had a great time exploring the characterful rooms and playing on the swing. Our host was very responsive and friendly and they even had a welcome pack on the kitchen table for us when we arrived. We all loved it and would recommend without hesitation.
