Berringtons Barn in Shropshire is highly praised for its exceptional cleanliness, tranquil location, and comfortable furnishings. Guests consistently commend the welcoming hosts for their thoughtfulness, including homemade treats, though these are not guaranteed. The property's well-maintained facilities contribute to a peaceful and enjoyable stay, despite a single report of a bed issue which was addressed by the owners.
Reviewers frequently highlight the spotless condition of the property, with many describing it as immaculate and the standard of cleanliness as exceptional. One isolated incident regarding a bed does not detract significantly from the overall high scores.
The property's location is consistently described as peaceful, tranquil, and ideal for exploring local attractions. The large garden and countryside views are particularly appreciated, contributing to the high score.
Guests find the barn very comfortable, with tasteful furnishings and a relaxing atmosphere. The property is noted for its spaciousness and the quality of the furniture, ensuring a comfortable stay.
The barn is well-equipped with high-quality appliances and thoughtful touches. However, there is a mention of intermittent internet access and a bed collapsing, which suggests some room for improvement in maintenance.
The hosts are frequently commended for their thoughtfulness, including welcoming guests with tea and homemade cakes, as well as providing extra touches like jams and decorations. It should be noted that such personal touches, while common, are not guaranteed for every stay.

We have stopped in a lot of similar style properties whilst exploring the UK with the kids and this barn tops the lot. It was clean and well equipped but it was all the extra thoughtful touchâs that made it stand out. The beautiful garden and its birds were accompanied by binoculars and a bird book, national trust handbook, tea on arrival and bubble bath. Glyn was a star and by reading the guest book it was clear we werenât the only one that thought this. With easy access to lots of places it was the perfect base for our half term adventure.

Excellent location, would recommend the Sunday lunch at the wharf pub just a short drive away. Very clean and well equipped with everything you need. Lovely and quiet with beautiful views of the garden and countryside. The scones and jams were a very welcoming treat.
Sandra
Welcoming afternoon tea of scones and homemade cakes provided by the host, Glyn was delicious. Glyn is extremely informative and helpful. It is our second visit and hope to visit again next year.
