This lovely location has opportunities for walking and cycling in the local area and is an excellent base for touring all of Shropshire, as well as parts of Cheshire, Staffordshire and even Wales. Nearby Market Drayton boasts a good selection of shops and pubs and is close to the Shropshire Union Canal. The village offers the majestic St. Oswald church, a shop, tennis courts, playground and the Quarry Wood Nature Reserve. Nearby Market Drayton is renowned for hosting one of the liveliest weekly markets you will find, and the town centre boasts many 16th and 17th century half-timbered buildings, including a variety of pubs, restaurants and tea rooms.
