The area is a walker’s haven as it is close to Offa’s Dyke, Glyndwr’s Way, the Mortimer Trail and the Shropshire Hills, Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The owners have devised a number of local walks that can be achieved from the front door. Knighton, 3 miles, offers independent shops, pubs, restaurants and the Offa’s Dyke Centre. Castles in the area include Ludlow, Powys and Clun. Llandrindod Wells, Builth Wells, the Royal Welsh Showground, and the market towns of Newtown and Welshpool are within easy reach. Shop and restaurant 3 miles, pub ½ mile.

Lovely location for quiet, and for walks from the cottage. Owners on site and very friendly and helpful. Many interesting towns to visit within easy range. Well appointed cottage with everything useful for self-catering.
