Other places of interest in the area include Ludlow a vibrant market town that has regular farmers market, a medieval castle and a well attended food festival in September. This property is ideally situated just a short drive from many local attractions, although do take care when pulling on to the main road. A little further afield you will find the towns of Iron Bridge, Leominster and Bishops Castle. The area is also rich in National Trust houses and gardens that open throughout the year, and for historians why not visit Powis or Stokesay Castle.
