About this property

A charming end-terrace cottage with a hot tub situated next to the owner’s home, just a few minutes’ walk from the centre of Bridgnorth and the River Severn. The character and charm of the cottage, including the many wall and ceiling beams, is evident as you enter through the front door into the open plan living area, complete with a warming woodburning stove for cosy evenings. The cottage also boasts a compact but well-equipped kitchen, a comfy sitting area and a breakfast bar. To the side of the cottage is a second sitting room with a dining area overlooking the cottage garden; doors from here open out to the decking, meaning you can let inside a cool breeze on a warm summer’s day. The modern bathroom is situated on the ground floor, whilst from the open plan living area, original curved tram steps lead upstairs to access the two lovely bedrooms, both with oak flooring. Outside, guests can relax in the luxurious hot tub, fire up the barbecue or simply sit back and relax with a refreshing drink whilst discussing the day's activities. The bustling market town of Bridgnorth offers something for everyone with a weekly street market, individual shops, quaint tea room and traditional pubs. The River Severn is just a stone’s throw away and provides an excellent backdrop for walks and cycle rides and is a haven for wildlife. A charming cottage blending delightful character features with all the mod cons, comfort and little luxuries you’ll need for a memorable Shropshire holiday.

The market town of Bridgnorth lies in two very distinct halves - the High Town and the Low Town - separated by the red sandstone ridge on which the town is built. The two halves are connected by winding streets and flights of steps, or there is always the steep funicular railway, enabling the weary traveller to glimpse what Charles I called "the finest view in all my kingdom".
