The Old School House in Bridgnorth is a charming and characterful cottage, praised for its spacious communal areas, beautiful countryside location, and welcoming hosts. Guests particularly enjoyed the hot tub, proximity to scenic walks and the local pub, and the unique historical features of the property. While most found the accommodation clean and well-equipped, a few noted minor maintenance issues and occasional discomfort with beds or sofa beds. Overall, the property offers a memorable and enjoyable stay, ideal for families and groups seeking a relaxing rural retreat.
Most guests found the property very clean and well-presented, with only a few mentioning cobwebs or spiders, which are understandable in a countryside setting. A couple of reviews noted the hot tub or sofas could be cleaner, but these were exceptions.
The location is highly praised for its beautiful countryside setting, easy access to walks, and proximity to local attractions and the Boyne Arms pub. Guests consistently highlighted the convenience and appeal of the area.
Many guests found the cottage spacious and comfortable, especially for group gatherings. However, some mentioned uncomfortable beds or sofa beds, and a few experienced issues with heating during colder months.
Facilities such as the hot tub, garden, and well-equipped kitchen were appreciated. Some guests noted minor maintenance issues (e.g., broken bed, sofa, or hot tub glass) and suggested more kitchenware for larger groups.
Several guests mentioned thoughtful touches from the hosts, such as dog treats and helpful communication. However, some expected welcome packs or breakfast items that were not provided, so gifts or extras are not guaranteed.

We booked a girls family weekend break here for my daughters 16th birthday. We really enjoyed our stay. The location is perfect.. we had everything we needed and any problems we had were dealt with quickly (which was only how to get the bubbles on the hot tub and not wanting to mess about with electrics)The place was spotless and they even allowed my sister to check in early to decorate for when me and my daughters arrived. Cant fault this placePerfect hosts and I highly recommend. The Price for april 9 of us fri to mon was brilliant especially when 6 were paying as it kept the cost way down. 10 out of 10
