The hot tub is a standout feature and much appreciated. While most facilities are well-received, a few guests noted limited kitchen equipment and occasional privacy concerns due to shared spaces and nearby activity.

The Old Kitchen was a great base for exploring Shropshire. It was clean, and tidy on arrival with milk in the fridge and tea and coffee available.Thankfully, the weather was good so we were able to use the BBQ for cooking otherwise we would have struggled to cook even the most basic of meals for 3 people in the small kitchen. There are 2 hobs, a microwave with grill and an air frier. There was one pan, not big enough for pasta for 3 people, and one frying pan. Thankfully, we brought our own charcoal so were able to sort evening meals. This said, the pub offered good food and was a short walk away. The walks around the area were worth the effort.Would we go again? Yes. The family were lovely and were quick to deal with the one issue we had.

The Old Kitchen was barely adequate and this was frustrating as with just a little more thought it could have been much better.

A good place to stay for people with mobility issues. There is ample parking. The bed was very comfortable , and everything supplied in the kitchen for a complete stay. The fire safety is taken very seriously which was good to see. The nearby Boyne Arms served good food and made us very welcome.
