The Severn Valley Railway which is dog friendly with the station home to the Museum of Village Life housed within a vintage Post Office sorting carriage. An ideal place for all food lovers with many local farm shops local dairies vineyards and festivals throughout the year. Onsite is an 18th century country inn situated along the River Bank of Severn open all year round serving lunches evening meals and afternoon cream teas and is also dog friendly. A full English breakfast is also available (at additional cost) between 7.30am-9am pre-booking essential. Approximately mile beat of the River Severn which is famed for challenging Barbel fishing; daily tickets for fishing available on site. Enjoying an elevated position over looking the valley this lodge offers a decked and patio area to watch the steam trains go by. The property offers one twin bedroom with a shower room and with WC. When entering the open planned lounge and kitchen you will find TV and DVD together with a well-equipped kitchen with electric oven fridge/freezer microwave and washing machine. Outside you will find an enclosed raised decked area with BBQ and seating. Parking for 2 cars and a further space at the bottom of the drive. Need to know: 1 twin room. Shower with WC.
