Mallard is dog-friendly, and we absolutely welcome 1 x well behaved dog, we would appreciate you letting us know whether your four-legged friend will be staying. Please note that this is a peaceful area where people come to relax, unwind and fish, so please be respectful to try and keep noise levels to a minimum.

Affectionately known as the birthplace of tourism, Ross-on-Wye, makes the perfect base for a holiday to Herefordshire. Overlooking a large loop in the beautiful River Wye is the historic market town of Ross-on-Wye, situated in the heart of rural Herefordshire and in the picturesque Wye Valley. This attractive town has timbered Tudor houses clustered around the striking 17th Century Market Hall, and there are excellent shops, pubs and restaurants to suit every taste. Stroll along the lovely river bank or view the surrounding countryside from a a kayak or canoe, with companies offering guided tours. Enjoy trips to Symonds Yat, Hay-on-Wye, the Black Mountains and the Forest of Dean.
