Visit the National Trust s Croft Castle and Berrington Hall. Head to the medieval castles in Ludlow and Stokesay or to the beautiful gardens at Hampton Court and Hergest Croft in Kington itself. Other places of interest include Leominster, famed for its variety of antique and curiosity shops, Ludlow, Hay on Wye, Presteigne, the Elan Valley Dams and the beautiful River Wye perfect for picnics and wild swimming.
