We had a wonderful stay at Upper House. The king-sized beds were exceptionally comfortable, making for a great night’s sleep. The house was very family-friendly, with plenty of toys and books to keep our child entertained – a lovely touch that made us feel right at home. When we encountered a minor issue with the boiler, the owner responded immediately and handled everything professionally and efficiently, which really put us at ease.Overall, we felt safe, relaxed, and happy throughout our stay. Upper House is a peaceful and well-equipped place to unwind, and we would absolutely recommend it to others. Thank you for a lovely stay!

A stunning cottage at an amazing location! Our experience started by driving up the house where we were greeted by a baby deer passing by the property heading toward the woods. The house itself is very well equipped, spacious, and very warm (I was a bit an afraid a grade II listed property might be a bit difficult to keep warm. Obviously, the two fireplaces (one of which is the original house feature), not only provided extra warmth but also a great atmosphere for our two families to enjoy and socialise around. The house is secluded enough to have your privacy, but with easy access to all amenities and major villages around. Paul, the owner was a great host, and even though we didn’t meet him in person he was there to help and share tips along the way.A rare find to enjoy the countryside! We will definitely come back in the summer!
