Sunnybank is a well-received cottage, praised for its comfort, homely decorations, and well-stocked kitchen. Guests enjoyed the cosy wood burner, comfortable beds, and the spacious garden. It's ideal for family gatherings and provides a relaxing retreat. Some guests mentioned thoughtful touches like Welsh Cakes on arrival.
There is no specific mention of cleanliness in the reviews, so it is not possible to provide a score for this category.
The cottage is appreciated for its remote, quiet setting, which is perfect for a peaceful stay. However, one review mentioned difficulty in finding the property and limited phone coverage, which suggests some challenges with the location.
Guests consistently note the comfort of the cottage, mentioning the cosy wood burner, comfortable beds, and the property's suitability for large groups and family stays.
The property is well-equipped for entertaining and cooking, even during festive seasons. However, concerns about outdated electrical sockets and unresponsive caretakers suggest some areas for improvement in facilities and maintenance.
Guests have mentioned receiving Welsh Cakes and fresh milk upon arrival, indicating a level of thoughtfulness. However, as gifts are not guaranteed for every stay, this score reflects the positive experiences shared without setting an expectation of receiving gifts.

Spent 5 great days in this lovely house. It was very comfortable and very well stocked. Lovely Welsh Cakes and fresh milk awaited us on arrival. Kitchen equipment very well stocked. Very nice homely decorations. We felt very comfortable. Lots of hot water for showering 8 people. The wood burner made the open plan kitchen diner and seating area very cosy. The lounge was lovely to sit in and watch T.V. Very child friendly.

Great cottage,

The house was very well-equipped and in beautiful surroundings. It was very difficult to find especially as there's little or no phone coverage there and the satnav took us to the road behind the house from where there's no access. We had a lovely stay there and it's great for large family gatherings. I only have two complaints. Firstly many of the sockets are old round pin ones especially next to the beds. This was a problem for us as my partner uses a CPAP machine at night and was unable to plug it in. The second complaint is that I tried to contact both the key holder and the caretaker and neither returned my calls or messages. Fortunately we didn't have any emergency and my partner's inability to use his machine wasn't life or death but I found it unacceptable to be unable to contact anyone during our stay.
