The location is often described as quiet with excellent views, ideal for exploring the Forest of Dean and other attractions. The absence of light and noise pollution is also appreciated.

Guests find the property warm and cosy, with 'super comfy' beds and comfortable lounge furniture, suggesting a very high level of comfort.

The bungalow is praised for its excellent shower, well-equipped kitchen, and additional facilities like robes and slippers. However, a minor issue with garden security for pets prevents a perfect score.

The hosts' thoughtfulness is evident in the provision of extras and pet-friendly amenities. While gifts like duck eggs are mentioned, it's important to note that such personal touches, while delightful, are not guaranteed.

Very peaceful and close enough to visit some great locations. Very welcoming owners at the top of the hill and we got to meet the Kune Kune pigs who are just gorgeous .

Stunning views and absolutely no traffic noise! The beds were really comfortable and the cottage had everything we needed. I text Kay, the owner, a few times to ask a question and her responses were prompt and helpful - and the duck eggs she dropped round for breakfast were delicious! Would love to return.

Extra touches such as robes and slippers included as were soaps shampoos and conditioners. Being a dog friendly property there were pet blankets available and space outside for exercising. The owner Kay forwarded information and a welcome to the property before we arrived which was appreciated. Would definitely stay at Palace Bungalow again.
