Cider Mill is a beautifully presented cottage in a tranquil rural setting, praised for its stunning views, welcoming hosts, and well-equipped, spotless interiors. Guests consistently highlight the relaxing hot tub, comfortable beds, and the peaceful atmosphere, making it ideal for a restful getaway. The property is remote, so a car is needed for shops and pubs, but this adds to its charm for those seeking a true escape. The hosts are frequently commended for their friendliness and helpfulness, ensuring guests feel at home throughout their stay.

Multiple reviews describe the cottage as spotlessly clean and very well maintained, with no negative comments regarding cleanliness. Guests consistently mention the high standard of hygiene throughout the property.

The rural location is widely praised for its breathtaking views and peacefulness, though several guests note the distance from shops and amenities. This remoteness is generally seen as a positive for those seeking tranquillity, but may not suit everyone.

Guests frequently mention the comfort of the beds, the cosy atmosphere, and the spaciousness of the cottage. The property is described as a home from home, with only rare mentions of minor issues such as warm nights upstairs.

The cottage is repeatedly described as well-equipped, with everything needed for a comfortable stay, including a hot tub, kitchen essentials, and thoughtful touches like towels for both bathrooms and the hot tub. Minor suggestions for improvement (e.g., iron, summer quilts) are rare and do not detract from overall satisfaction.

The hosts are consistently praised for their friendliness, helpfulness, and attention to detail, such as providing local recommendations and ensuring guests have essentials. Some guests mention small touches like tea, coffee, and toiletries, but please note that such gifts or extras are not guaranteed for every stay.

Beautiful cottage, absolutely perfect for what we wanted - the owners were absolutely lovely too, making sure we had everything we needed and giving us local recommendations for pubs, hikes and drives, as well as the lay of the land. The inside is spotlessly clean and well equipped with crockery/cutlery/cooking equipment, and both the sofa and bed were very comfy. Also great having two bathrooms for getting ready. The main draw for us was the hot tub with a view, and wow - it did not disappoint! So tranquil, private (apart from seeing the sheep and lambs in the nearby fields) and the landscape was something from a painting. We knew this was next to the owner's farm, but despite this everything was so quiet and had none of the farm smells you might expect. Honestly, no downsides!
