Snaptrip says

The Hen House receives high praise for its cleanliness, welcoming hosts, and thoughtful touches such as fresh eggs and homemade treats. Set in a peaceful working farm, it offers a comfortable and well-equipped stay with beautiful surroundings, though some minor issues with facilities like shower temperature and TV reception were noted.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Reviewers consistently mention the immaculate cleanliness of The Hen House, highlighting its well-kept condition. One isolated comment about a malfunctioning shower does not detract significantly from the overall perception of cleanliness.

The property's rural setting is appreciated for its tranquility and scenic views, with easy access to local attractions and towns. The need for a car due to its rural location is expected and does not negatively impact guests' experiences.

Guests find The Hen House extremely comfortable, with spacious rooms and cozy furnishings. There are some remarks about uncomfortable sofas, but these are few compared to the overall positive feedback on comfort.

The property is well-equipped and maintained, though there are comments about the TV reception and a non-functioning shower. The presence of a working farm adds charm but also some noise, which is occasionally mentioned.

Many guests express gratitude for the thoughtful gestures such as welcome cakes, eggs, and cider. While these gifts greatly enhance the experience, it is noted that such personal touches, though common, are not guaranteed for every stay.

The complimentary eggs, brownies and Prosecco were a lovely extra touch. As a disabled guest, the property was ideal with the downstairs bedroom and bathroom with level access shower. Would highly recommend and will definitely be returning.
