The Teepee in Southwold is a well-furnished and comfortable cottage praised for its cleanliness, high standard of decor, and proximity to local amenities. While some guests noted noise from nearby church bells and street traffic, the property's location remains a highlight, being close to the beach, shops, and a playground. The cottage is equipped with a fully functional kitchen, cosy living spaces, and comfortable beds, making it a desirable stay for many visitors.
Guests consistently noted the property's immaculate condition and cleanliness, with fresh towels and spotless furnishings. One review mentioned grubby outside windows, but this appears to be an isolated comment.
The location is generally celebrated for its proximity to the beach, shops, and a playground. However, some guests were disturbed by church bells and street noise, which suggests the location's desirability may be affected by personal noise sensitivity.
The comfort of the beds and the warmth of the cottage were frequently commended. The property provides a cosy atmosphere, although there were minor suggestions for freshening up some rooms.
Facilities are deemed adequate with a well-equipped kitchen and good heating. However, issues with a key safe, a sticking door, and suggestions for upgrades to certain appliances indicate room for improvement in maintenance.
While guests appreciated welcome gifts, there is not enough information to assess the consistency of such gestures across all stays. As such, it is politely noted that while welcome gifts have been mentioned, they may not be guaranteed for every visit.

Lovely kitchen and comfy lounge, great WiFi and really appreciated Netflix. It needs a bit of a freshen up in the spare bedrooms and bathroom and a bit of a paint but maybe that is coming for the summer! The ironing board needs replacing as was unusable. All in all it was very comfortable.

Great central position. Heating works well , nice and cozy during our rather chilly December visit. The kettle blew the fuses but Best of Suffolk support had it replaced and the fuses reset very quickly indeed. TV services are good with Netflix included which is very useful. Microwave is waving a white flag and is due an upgrade. 700W!! All in all, a lovely place to stay in Southwold.

We found the house clean and well furnished, with comfy beds and fresh linen/towels. Kitchen also feels new and is well equipped.
