The elegantly presented dining table is the perfect place to pull up a chair and sit down to eat together and really get into the holiday spirit. To relax and chill out, there is a generous seating area complete with a comfy sofa, TV for entertainment and views out onto the roof terrace and beyond. When it’s time for bed, it’s not far to go to find either a sumptuous king-size or the stylish twin; both are equally well presented and offer a relaxing sanctuary of calm after a tiring day. In the morning, grab a quick bath or shower and enjoy a coffee on the terrace before heading out for the day. Stroll into Southwold and discover its magnificent beach and pier plus it has some great shops and eateries to explore and is home to the famous Adnams Brewery. Within walking distance is the picture-postcard village of Walberswick which has a couple of popular traditional pubs and great crabbing opportunities along its sandy beach. You can even buy fresh fish from any of the fish huts along the harbour. For a scenic drive to some nearby attractions, check out Framlingham Castle, Halesworth Museum, Adventure Island Play Park, Easton Farm Park, Africa Alive and Oasis Camel Park. The whole area is a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, so there are loads of great walks, hikes and cycle rides to undertake as well as golfing and sailing opportunities too. Southwold is a seaside town situated along the East Suffolk coast within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and resting between Lowestoft and Ipswich. Southwold is known as the home of Adnams Brewery which was established in the town in 1872 and it also has its own lighthouse, a museum and a picturesque pier which has a selection of colourful beach huts and which plays host to the regular Southwold Model Yacht regatta. The town boasts a number of excellent restaurants and eateries with a particular nod to its seaside location so there is always plenty of seafood and fish on the menu. Southwold has some fantastic independent shops, boutiques, galleries and pubs which are great for a browse and to stock up on essentials for your holiday. Just outside Southwold there are a number of great attractions for the whole family including Africa Alive Zoological Reserve, rspb Minsmere and Dunwich Museum as well as scenic towns such as Aldeburgh, Thorpeness, Leiston and Lowestoft to visit.
