Walberswick is just a short walk from Little chapter and it is a picture postcard pretty village with a beautiful beach and a harbour and a footbridge leading you to Southwold which is also well worth a visit. Other towns worth visiting include Thorpeness and Aldeburgh with attractions to check out ranging from stately homes such as Framlingham Castle, Melford Hall and Somerleyton Hall to animal venues such as Africa Alive Zoological Reserve, Oasis Camel Park, Suffolk Owl Sanctuary and Easton Farm Park. A delightful coastal village set at the mouth of the River Blyth in the Suffolk Coast National Nature Reserve. This place is perfect for a chilled break by the sea. It offers a small range of delightful shops, pubs, restaurants and cafés to choose from. The nearest town is Southwold just a short trip over the River Blyth, it offers a good selection of amenities as well as a museum and a light house. The city of Norwich is also accessible and is well worth a visit. Walberswick is one of the few places in the UK with very little light pollution.
