A unique property, guaranteeing an authentic Suffolk stay with breath-taking views of Southwold Harbour and surrounding areas.
The Old Fisherman's Hut is set beside Southwold Harbour overlooking the River Blyth with views across towards Walberswick which can be reached by footbridge or ferry; from the back of the property there are lovely views across meadows towards the town of Southwold which is only a fifteen minute walk away across the common, with the beach a similar distance away along the riverside. Mr Hodson
The Fishermans hut is in a perfect location, it was lovely to sit on deck with a glass of wine watching the sun go down. One recommendation we would make as we struggled a little with space for clothes. Maybe owner could swap position of chest of drawers with chest in living area ( no cupboards for clothes in bedroom) so that drawers could be used. Apart from that we loved our stay and sitting and watching world go by or going for a walk to Southwold or Walberswick. Fish and Chips were excellent from nearby shop.
Mrs Roberts
We loved our stay in the Old Fisherman's hut. Not luxurious but had everything we needed. Good shower, cosy living room with log burner and comfortable bed, though in a tight space. We were lucky with perfect weather during our stay so could take advantage of the wonderful views and sheltered outside seating areas. Appreciated the little extras left for us eg milk, tea, fruit juice and crisps.
