About this property

Perched in the coastal village of Pakefield, near a sandy and pebbly beach, is this charming mid-terrace, 160 Pakefield Street. Surrounded by wonderful walks and great amenities, this holiday home is idyllic for a family of four or a small group of friends. Leave your vehicle on the roadside, making unloading an easy task and notice the refreshing sea-air. Step inside to discover the living/dining room, where you can unwind on the plush sofas after a day of exploring and flick through the TV or curl up with a book. There is a stylish dining table with four chairs to enjoy meals together and why not crack open a bottle of bubbly to celebrate? Moving through the property, find the galley kitchen, here the chef of the group can rustle up tasty dishes with the electric oven and hob and there is a dishwasher and washing machine for a fuss-free clean up. Head out the back to door to spend time in the enclosed courtyard in privacy, where there is seating to relax on sunny days. As the sky grows dark, retire upstairs to freshen up in the shower room and let your worries wash away. To rest your head, there are two bedrooms to choose from; a master double with a dressing table to help with getting ready and rear double bedroom with views over the courtyard. Awaken with a steaming cup of coffee, courtesy of the coffee maker and use the toaster for a light breakfast. Enjoy a break from the kitchen with a choice local restaurants or cross the road and treat yourselves to fresh fish and chips, which you can take with you to the beach for a scenic setting. Kensington Gardens offers a pleasant walk amongst greenery and Ferini Art Gallery is also close-by for the art-lovers of the group and Lowestoft pier only short walk away. For an escape to the coast of Suffolk, with much to see and do, stay at 160 Pakefield Street.

Pakefield, on the Suffolk coast, is a suburb of Lowestoft, but it was once a village in its own right, and the parish church of All Saints and St Margarets is located there. Pakefield is home to The Seagull Theatre as well as an art gallery, as well as a variety of stores, cafes, and restaurants, including a real fish and chip shop. Lowestoft is a conventional seaside resort with a variety of amenities, including the Pleasurewood Hills Theme Park, while Southwold, south of Pakefield, is known for its pier, busy harbour, and colourful beach huts that line the seashore. Pakefield is a fantastic starting point for seeing all of East Anglia, including the Norfolk Broads and Norwich's cathedral city.

I had a problem with getting in and out of bed as its quiet low and close to the wall, no room to move with the curtains. The surprise of a coffee machine was really nice but it did need descaling so couldn’t use it. These are very picky statements though because the property is lovely.

Modernised to a high standard, and conveniently placed for local amenities. We enjoyed our stay, and would definitely recommend the house.

First reaction of the house and one of the most important to me was it was very clean. Well equipped although an indoor sweeper may be beneficial especially after using the beach. Lovely walks across the sea front of Pakefield. Small, but nicely decorated and comfortable cottage, peaceful area, loved Pakefield Street, would recommend a visit.
