Please note: There is a fenced pond in the grounds, 100 yards away.. Just off the picturesque tourist route, in the village of Ubbeston in Suffolk, you will find Green Valley, a lovingly renovated cluster of barn conversions, The Dairy (ref UKC1546), The Woodshed (ref UK10353) and The Cowshed (ref UK10354) all in the grounds of the owners’ non-working farm. With an emphasis on luxury, this is the perfect spot for a romantic getaway, and the wood burner in each property ensures a cosy and inviting welcome in the colder months. Ideally located to enjoy all Suffolk has to offer, with the coast, countryside and culture all on the doorstep.
Framlingham is home to an historic castle with its impressive moat, and offers pubs, cafés and independent shops to browse at your leisure. Southwold is only a short drive to the east where you can explore the winding streets that lead to the traditional seaside pier, and the brightly coloured beach huts that pepper the shoreline. Surrounding the cottages are fantastic walks and country pubs, waiting to invite you with open fires, comfy seating and a Suffolk welcome. Beach 15 miles. Shop 2½ miles, pub and restaurant 3¾ miles.

Very lovely accommodation at The Dairy but with a few niggles - low beam downstairs means anyone over 5ft5 has to be extremely vigilant to avoid head injury, also pitched roof in bathroom attracts bumps and bruises if not paying attention around toilet area. A greater variety of cookware would have been appreciated - it's difficult to cook a simple meal like pasta and sauce using a milk pan/frying pan, for example. Unfortunately there was building work going on in other buildings within the complex which had we have known about in advance, we would have cancelled the booking as we were looking specifically for somewhere quiet, however, there was a lovely wine and chocolates welcome basket on arrival and fresh milk in the fridge which is always appreciated. Owner was responsive and helpful. Would definitely consider returning but to one of the larger properties rather than The Dairy.

A really lovely holiday cottage in a fabulous location. Logs for the log burner available on site. Kitchen well equipped. King size comfy bed. We were very happy and comfortable for our stay. Owners very helpful.
