Nestling in the Blyth Valley in peaceful north east Suffolk, just 7 miles from Southwold, this newly refurbished and freshly decorated little hideaway offers couples a relaxing retreat within easy reach of both the Suffolk Heritage Coast and the Norfolk Broads. Adjoining the owners’ home, yet with its own private entrance, it enjoys shared use of their garden which lies above water meadows with the River Blyth beyond. Traditional market towns (Halesworth, with its charming blend of old and new buildings, is just 2 miles), Heritage coast, sailing and rspb Minsmere are a short drive. Farm shop and pub 0.5 miles.

We booked Linda's Lodge at the last minute for a few days away from home. What a find it turned out to be! In lovely surroundings, it had everything we needed and was very clean. There is a seating area outside looking onto the garden where we saw squirrels.The location is excellent with a short journey into the local town for groceries, cafes and pubs. We visited the town's little museum while we were there and it was very interesting. Halesworth isn't far from Southwold and Walberswick on the coast, both worth a visit. The owners gave us information on local shopping, walks and recommended where to visit. All in all, we consider Linda's Lodge excellent value for money.

Had a lovely stay at Linda's Lodge. Ideal for the single traveller or a couple. The cottage had virtually everything I needed while I was there. It was lovely and clean and the owners were friendly and welcoming. It is compact but not to crammed in. Linda's Lodge is a small single storey property attached to the owner's home. Well equipped, if a little dated but we found everything we needed during our brief stay. The grounds are lovely with rabbits and squirrels running around.Well placed for Halesworth but the road was not busy so we enjoyed peace and quiet.
