About this Holiday Cottage

This charming period cottage is set in the idyllic village of Huntingfield, and is the perfect accommodation to take a pleasant family holiday, and explore the picturesque surrounding villages.

Inside

The interior of Holly Cottage is set over 3 floors. There is a sitting/ dining area and a kitchen on the ground floor. The sitting area has entertainment systems such as a TV, DVD, CD player and ipod dock, as well as an inglenook fireplace and wood- burning stove, perfect for cosy evenings in.

The kitchen is fully- equipped with appliances including an electric cooker, fridge/ freezer, dishwasher and washer/ dryer. A high chair and travel cot are available for use by younger children.

Bedrooms / Bathrooms

There are three bedrooms - a twin bedroom with 2 3' beds, a single bedroom with a 3' bed, and a double bedroom with a 4'6" bed. The bathroom has a shower over the bath and wc.

Outside

There is a private garden and patio to the rear of Holly Cottage, overlooking a stream.

Other Things to Note

Strictly no smoking. One well behaved dog welcome. Please note that due to the steep wooden spiral staircase, the cottage is not suitable for guests with mobility difficulties, and toddlers should be supervised. Free WiFi for recreational use, however the speed and service may depend on the package obtained by the owner.

There is parking for one car on-site, and further parking is available by the village hall just across the village green , as well as in the pub car park, however you may need to seek the permission of the pub owner. There are 4 adult bikes available for use at the cottage, however please request these when making your booking.

Around and About

Holly Cottage is surrounded by a number of attractions, such as the Castle in Framlingham- just a 10 minute drive away. The beaches, pier, boutique shops and restaurants of Southwold also make an excellent family day out.

There are also a number of walking and cycling footpaths near to the cottage, as well as Minsmere Bird Reserve, local theatres in Bungay and Halesworth, and crabbing at Walberswick.
