The Swollows Nest is the perfect base to explore both Suffolk and Norfolk. Both Maggie and Eric were very welcoming and extremely friendly and helpful. Both of the onsuit bedrooms were perfect. It has a safe secure garden area for adults and dogs. Ample parking for two cars. I would strongly recommend a stay at the Swallows Nest.

We spent a long weekend here with another couple and had a really fun and relaxing stay. We were made to feel very welcome and the place itself is very comfortable and equipped with everything you might need. It's tucked away from the road so it's nice and peaceful, although the area it's in is quiet anyway. But close enough for the local pizza place to still deliver! We loved exploring Bungay and returning to Southwold for a day trip. The house has a secure garden so was ideal for our little pooch but you are welcome to explore the grounds too. Ample space for 2 cars to park right by where you're staying too.Definitely recommend and would happily go back. From reading their visitor book they've had people return time and time again, which says it all.

17th to 24th July WOW!! what a fantastic We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful holiday cottage. It was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing break. it’s the best we’ve stayed at yet. We’ve been staying in holiday cottages 15+ years. The peaceful surroundings made it the perfect place to unwind, and we loved sitting outside listening to the birds singing each morning. The cottage was well equipped, cosy, and clearly very well cared for. The location was ideal for enjoying nature and exploring the local area, while still feeling like a quiet retreat. The owners were absolutely lovely—so welcoming, friendly, and helpful, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. It's clear they take great pride in their cottage and genuinely care that their guests have the best possible stay.We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway and would happily stay here again. Thank you for a lovely holiday!
