The barn is ideally positioned for exploring Norfolk and Suffolk. There are numerous walks from the cottage. Medieval St. Peter’s hall and brewery, ½ mile away, offers brewery tours and food. Southwold, Walberswick, rspb reserves, fishing lakes, coastal walks and Norwich city are within ½ hours drive. Bungay, 3 miles has shops and amenities. Shops 3 miles, pub ½ mile.

We had a lovely 4 night stay at this beautiful cottage, it has everything you need and more in it. Maggie and Eric were perfect hosts. Nice bottle of Prosecco chilling when we got there. My mum and I had the most fantastic stay at Swallows Nest. In the most beautiful setting, and a gorgeous base for 4 nights. The beds and sofas were so comfortable and we felt relaxed as soon as we arrived. Everything we needed was there and Maggie & Eric were the perfect hosts. They absolutely went out of their way to help when I experienced issues with my car which was very stressful. Would have no hesitation in recommending a stay here!
