Beccles is located just a short driveaway and offers an array of small market squares and winding streets, nestled by the River Waveney, there is even an outdoor lido. Bungay is a historic town resting between Norwich and Halesworth. The town is known for its impressive castle, Bigod Castle, and offers a selection of attractions including Bath Hills countryside walk and Bungay and Waveney Valley Golf Club. Alex was a wonderful host and her cottage was obviously much loved. The lounge was a lovely area and the bedroom was large, well appointed and the bed was really comfortable. The ben linen was top quality. The bathroom was very recently refurbished and to a high standard. Everything I wanted was on my doorstep - a supermarket just around the corner and Bungay town just a ten minute walk away. I went for the walking and cycling, both of which were wonderful. I shall return.

The cottage is in a little town of Bungay, which has shops, pubs and a beautiful church. The cottage is quirky and comfortable and Alex (the lovely owner) left us some scrumptious 'goodies', which were much appreciated. There are plenty of places to visit, Southwold (huge beach), Dunwich Heath (for a walk , spotting the deer) Beccles (for boating) and the harbour at Lowestoft (visited an old trawler, very informative). Needless to say, we would highly recommend Harmony Cottage ! Thank you Alex!

Alex was very helpful with recommendations for places to visit and we loved the personal touches she gave to our stay, such as goodies she left not only for us but our dog too! Highly recommended and we hope to be back in future.
