Surrounded by fields with only a few other properties in sight, it provided a very peaceful base for our week in Suffolk. The house was well equipped & adequately furnished, with very comfortable beds. We sat in the garden absorbing the peacefulness, went on walks across the fields from the door but also ventured out to explore nearby Bungay, and Dunwich & Southwold, which were no more than 45mins away. Norwich & Norfolk countryside also equally accessible in that time. We were delighted that most supermarkets deliver to the cottage as this meant we only had to pick up a few fresh provisions from the nearest supermarket, which is in Bungay....there didn't appear to be a 'local' shop but maybe we just didn't come across it. A thoroughly relaxing week was had by us all, thank you.

A great local pub, and everyone we met was very friendly and helpful. I did lots of loan walking with 1 of the dogs and never felt worried.

We saw deers in the front garden, lots of birds and a hedgehog in the back garden. It’s a fantastic large garden the dogs loved playing in. As a family ranging from 53 to 22 we all had such a great time. The dining room is perfect for playing board games. We visited St Peter’s Brewery for a tour and a fabulous lunch, also the very interesting Aviation Museum, both so close to the house. We highly recommend the house for a family or friends get together, it had everything we needed for a fun Easter weekend including welcome gifts! Thanks for being great hosts Andy & Alisha.
