Boasting a peaceful location, simply perfect to take a moment and recharge. There is a wealth of activities and attractions to explore on doorstep. Standing within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with unspoilt countryside rich with wildlife, yet having the unique market town of Beccles 1 mile away. Great walking and cycling from doorstep with miles of tracks to explore.
Located on the Norfolk and Suffolk border in the Broads National Park where the River Waveney runs through. The town offers independent boutiques and chain shops, a great collection of eateries including fine dining and many cafés serving homemade cakes and savouries. The weekly market is excellent for all things local should you wish to enjoy a night of cooking and dining in. There are many wonderful places nearby, The Broads National Park is very popular, best enjoyed on the waterways with kayaks, canoes and day boat motor launches for a more leisurely pace. Alternatively sit back and enjoy a guided boat tour, where you can just soak up the incredible national park.
On your doorstep is the Lido open air heated swimming pool, popular with many local swimmers. Ideally located to the River Waveney, be sure to bring your binoculars as it’s a great place to view the abundance of wildlife and offers great fishing opportunities. Perfect for exploring both Norfolk and Suffolk, Lowestoft is the most easterly point in the UK, and Norwich, a bustling cathedral city with culture, heritage and entertainment for all. Watch the weekly speed boat racing (in season) on Oulton Broad, 9 miles. Suffolk Heritage Coastline, famous Southwold for pier, lighthouse, beach and fresh seafood eateries, 12 miles, and Walberswick rspb reserve, 13 miles. Golf course within 1½ miles. Fishing within ½ mile. Beach 8¾ miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 1 mile.

Had the best week ever at Sunset Cabin with my husband and dog!Set in the most idyllic English countryside, with so much nature all around, yet just a short drive to Caister, Gt Yarmouth, Lowestoft and the charming Southwold to name a few.The cabin was picture perfect and the lovely host Gavin had ensured that we had everything we could possibly need for a truly memorable stay.Ruby enjoyed the freedom to charge round, chasing butterflies and bees and we loved being able to enjoy a holiday with her, rather than putting her in kennels.We can't wait to book again!

We've just had a 4 night stay at the glorious Sunset Cabin. The pictures on the website do not do this cabin justice, the cabin and its setting are stunning, facilities were excellent and even though you felt like you were in the middle of nowhere its only a short walk/drive from Beccles which is lovely.Gavin & Karen were wonderful hosts, very friendly but not intrusive.We wanted an escape to celebrate our Silver Wedding Anniversary and this cabin delivered a little slice of heaven.We were treated to stunning sunsets & sunrises whilst relaxing on the porch and saw a wide range of wildlife which was spectacular.Hope to return again in the future and recommend for anyone looking for some real downtime

We had a fabulous week at Sunset Cabin. So wonderful to be able to let the dogs out and leave doors open without a worry, and on a nice day the perfect place to sit out and relax. Impressed by Beccles and loads to do with rivers, coast and Broads all close by. Very relaxing week, exactly what was required :). Many thanks to hosts Gavin and Karen.
