This means the traffic is very close to the front window. If you are there during the day it is very intrusive. At night the road is quiet, so no problem at all. The cottage is well presented with nice welcoming touches. The bed is very comfortable and the shower is great. My wife was not happy with the fact she had ti use the mirror over the stairs for drying hair etc and the blind in the bedroom is fixed closed, so no natural light. A useable base while visiting Beccles and the wider area, but possibly a bit over priced.

Plenty of room, comfy suite and bed. Very cool inside when it was boiling hot outside. Ideally located for all your needs in Beccles. Good bus service to Lowestoft and Southwold. My only problem was no manual for the oven, but I did eventually work out how it works. I'd certainly recommend it.

It set the dog barking a couple of times as the house shook with big lorries, and it was difficult to sleep. If it was on a quieter street I would stay again. Beccles Common was super for the dog,
