Guests say

Nightingales offers a peaceful countryside experience on a working horse farm, with easy access to local attractions and nature walks. Guests appreciate the tranquil setting, proximity to wildlife, and the charm of the property, which is well-equipped for a comfortable stay. Some guests noted the property could benefit from updates and a thorough cleaning.

Several reviews mention the need for a 'deep clean', with specific references to a rusty microwave, an unemptied dustpan, and an unsatisfactory toilet brush, indicating room for improvement in cleanliness.

The location is highly praised for its peacefulness, proximity to nature, and accessibility to local sights and the Suffolk coast, making it an ideal spot for relaxation and exploration.

Mixed feedback on comfort, with some guests finding the beds uncomfortable and in need of new mattresses, while others found the accommodation perfectly comfortable for a peaceful stay.

Guests report that the property has all the necessary basics for a stay, but also note that some outdoor furniture is rusty and the decking requires attention, suggesting that maintenance could be improved.

There is no mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness from the hosts, so it is not possible to provide a score in this category.

We had a wonderful stay at Nightingales. It was cosy and very peacefully located, but at the same time ideal for exploring Suffolk and its attractions. Perfect with the dog and very good pubs for food. We would book again. .

Despite the accommodation being in a peaceful area and located to nearby sights I felt it was rather tired looking and in desperate need of some serious TLC and a "deep clean" in places. The microwave was rusty, a window in the bathroom was not able to be closed so it was draughty and cool. The decking platform was in need of attention and the railings in part rotted (nothing like the picture) and the stairs outside when damp a little slippery also the metal furniture outside were rusty……all in all rather neglected looking. Beds were rather uncomfortable……mattresses need replacing (a wooden board was placed on the bed base) and one of the pillows on the beds were feather filled (not good for people with allergies). A dustpan not emptied which distributed its contents on me when I took it off the shelf in the cupboard and well, don’t get me started on the state of the "toilet brush" !While I appreciate the owners respecting a guests privacy a friendly hello would have been nice and more than welcome!
