Guests consistently highlight the comfortable beds, thoughtful touches, and inviting conservatory and garden. The property is ideal for those seeking a cosy, homely stay with easy access to local shops, restaurants, and walks. While the steep stairs and lack of dedicated parking may pose challenges for those with mobility issues or young children, most guests found these manageable and outweighed by the cottage’s many positives.

The location is highly rated, with guests appreciating the short walk to Woodbridge’s amenities, restaurants, and river walks, making it an ideal base for exploring the area.
Comfort is a standout feature, especially the large, cosy beds and inviting living spaces. The only recurring concern is the steep stairs, which may not suit everyone.
Facilities are described as excellent and very well equipped, including a well-stocked kitchen, conservatory, garden, and thoughtful extras. Minor suggestions included a vegetable peeler and information on local shops.
Guests frequently mention thoughtful touches such as welcome packs, milk, and other treats on arrival. While these gestures are much appreciated, please note that such gifts are not guaranteed for every stay.

The holiday house was lovely overall, but the lack of convenient parking and the slippery, winding stairs let the property down slightly. We had a three-year-old with us, so the stairs became a stressful part of each day as we constantly had to hold his hand and make sure he didn’t fall. One positive surprise was that the second bedroom is not accessed through the small hatch shown in the booking photos. In reality, there are two separate winding staircases leading up to the bedroom, although neither is pictured. The hatch is simply a charming opening through which guests can communicate with one another.Overall, we had a great stay.

Wonderful holiday and Angel Lane. The owner Clive has created a cosy little hideaway, with all the home comforts and more. Excellent location a short walk from town where there are plenty of lovely restaurants to eat in (we had Sunday lunch at The Bull, dinner at The Captains Table and lunch at The Railway Cafe & Two Magpies Bakery). There is also a Adnams tap house with an excellent section of ales, beers, gins and wines. The courtyard garden was perfect to relax in as we visited in the middle of a heatwave and was much needed to get out the heat. Close to beautiful beaches and there’s so much to do for all ages in the local area. We had a brilliant day out at Jimmy’s Farm which was only 20 minutes away. Most importantly the beds are comfortable and the shower is good! Yes the stairs are steep but it’s part of the cottages character and you might need to park a short walk away but all of this is worth it.

Very well equipped , thoughtful touches ( picnic basket /ice blocks , beach towels , throws etc ), amazing use of space especially in the kitchen.Despite staying during the current heatwave the property was comfortable ( fan provided ) with shade in the garden .Clive was very approachable and supplied full info and photos for our arrival. The welcome pack that he supplied was much appreciated especially the water and fruit juice in the fridge .The property is very well located for all amenities albeit there is a short uphill walk to the main road.As mentioned in other reviews this property has steep stairs to the bedrooms and deep steps from the living room to the kitchen and from the kitchen to the conservatory so may be difficult for people with mobility problems. Overall this is a very comfortable cottage for all seasons as Clive, the owner, has thought of everything to make your stay perfect.
