Snaptrip says

Sedge House in Eastbridge is a well-loved cottage, praised for its beautiful, spacious accommodation and quiet location. Guests appreciate its proximity to RSPB Minsmere and local pubs. The eco-friendly aspect of the property is also highlighted. While there was an isolated mention of initial coldness and a cleaning issue, the overall sentiment is positive, with special mentions of the property's comfort and the thoughtful touches provided.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Most guests found Sedge House to be comfortable and cosy. However, one review mentioned that the cleaning was rushed upon their arrival, with some oversights like dead flowers and a lack of dishwasher salt. This seems to be an exception rather than the rule.

The location is consistently praised for its beauty and tranquillity, with easy access to RSPB Minsmere and local amenities like the Eel's Foot Inn. The surrounding countryside and wildlife add to the charm of the cottage's setting.

Guests generally found the property to be comfortable and cosy, with spacious rooms and an open plan living space. One review did mention the property was very cold initially, but this improved over time.

While guests are happy with the provided amenities and mention the property has everything needed, there is insufficient detail in the reviews to accurately assess the overall state of facilities and maintenance.

Several guests mentioned appreciating small details such as wine, biscuits, and milk, which contributed to a welcoming atmosphere. However, it should be noted that such gestures, while appreciated, are not guaranteed for every stay.

Barrels are supplied and all are welcome to join in! The local Emmerdale Farm Shop and Butchery as well as a tea shop is approximately a mile away. The area is a haven for nature lovers with Westleton Heath National Nature Reserve, Dunwich Forest, Dunwich Beach with its famous fish and chip shop located on the beach, and the rspb Minsmere, all close by. Close to beaches and pubs with nice restaurants. Would definitely recommend to family and friends.

00pm and find the cleaners still cleaning. It was really inconvenient as we had a family group of nine with small children. The cleaning was hurried, left dead flowers, dishwasher needed salt etc. There was no welcome letter or pack, not even a pint of milk ! For a weekend stay costing £1500 that is really poor. The house was great, everything you need, comfortable and in a good location. Just disappointed it was not as clean as it should have been.

Everything is provided. The location is beautiful, we saw various birds and animals. It’s near RSPB Minsmere which was delightful, even on a rainy day. Easy access to the coast.
