The charming market town of Framlingham lies 2.8 miles away where days can be spent wandering through the streets in search of the finest cafes, or visiting the historic English Heritage Site of Framlingham Castle.

Take a trip to RSPB Minsmere (7 miles) to explore the coastal nature reserve which is home to some of the UK’s rarest wildlife in the diverse habitats of woodland, grassland, heath and more. Alternatively, head to Dunwich (13 miles) for a wander through the ancient forest to soak in the natural beauty of this part of the country.
