We enjoyed our stay at The Wood Shed- we like the airy feeling of combined kitchen/dining/lounge with large window/door overlooking fields- for winter period the stove is lovely and easy to light and you are given a good supply of logs/kindling/firelighters/matchesThe kitchen is well equipped - there isn’t a freezer compartment in fridge but next door is a large freezer room with freezer divided into compartments for each accommodation We have stayed here a couple of times as find it warm and cosy. The heating when on is good and you regulate it by individual thermostats on radiators however it appears to be set on twice daily so it went off around 8am/8pm so had to relight stove in the morning -There is a footpath very close to accommodation which is great if you have a dog but there is no private garden to the The Wood ShedWe would recommend and will stay again

We have just come back from a week at the wood shed in Hinton. It was just what we needed to recharge our batteries. The perfect size accommodation for 2, with everything you could need. We did have a little road noise for a couple of days as the sugarbeet lorries were collecting their beets, but you expect a bit of that this time of year. The only small issue was with the ensuite to the main bedroom, it obviously had a slight damp problem so was a bit wiffy. Otherwise couldn't fault the accommodation.
