The town of Saxmundham is a short drive away, and is well serviced with independent shops, supermarkets, a train station, as well as art galleries, a weekly market and a farmers’ market. Also within easy reach of Aldeburgh and Thorpeness, as well as Dunwich, Southwold and Walberswick, so why not make the most of your holiday and enjoy a different coastal location every day? The family resort of Lowestoft, the most easterly point in Great Britain, is only twenty miles away and is home to some of the finest Blue Flag beaches in the area and has a range of attractions for all of the family. Middleton is a lovely village in Suffolk and offers visitors a local village pub and church, whilst also being close to the popular areas of both Saxmundham and Yoxford. These areas are well worth visiting and both are ideal for taking a trip to the Heritage Coast and the Minsmere Reserve (rspb).
