We were 2 couples and the accommodation suited us brilliantly. Everything we needed was provided including an EV charger. Booking was easy and communication with the owners was very straightforward.Lovely surprise to find a very nice hamper of goodies on arrival. The owners have obviously spent a lot of time and effort on the garden area, which was very pleasant to sit out in.Unfortunately both nearby pubs have closed down but there is a very nice pub within a 5 minute walk.

Overall we had a lovely week and the cottage has everything to make the experience relaxing and enjoyable. We especially liked the garden/bar area to the rear of the cottage and the owners prepared an amazing welcome pack for us detailing the local area and provided some lovely treats. The only disappointment was the cleanliness of the property. There was an abundance of cobwebs and dust which would be a quick fix.

A home from home, a warm welcome pack from the hosts. The location is perfect for the Maltings, Aldeburgh and Thorpeness. Southwold just 30 minutes away. Gravel to the front and paving slabs to the rear so if you have a dog that won’t do its business on anything but grass, good luck. Fortunately our dog finally got used to it. The rooms are a nice size and the kitchen diner is lovely. The hosts have sky glass which kept our 5 yr old grandson entertained whilst the adults got everything ready for the day.
