Laid out across three storeys and enjoying panoramic sea views, this gorgeous townhouse is perfect for an active family. Its bright and airy interior is peppered with plenty of comfortable seating and its naturally-lit rooms are arranged for social and quiet time in equal measure. Gather the family together in the lounge/diner, whether it’s for a film on the big screen or a culinary speciality you’ve been promising them all week, one that gets the senses purring while it's being prepared in the neighbouring kitchen. When everyone is ready for bed, or needs some quiet time, sanctuary is provided in each of the three bedrooms. The first floor is shared between a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and the family bathroom, while on the second floor, the en-suite king-size bedroom includes seating with blissful views past a Juliette balcony. You can send the children off to the beachside playground if they’re starting to get restless, calling them back when it’s time for sinful portions of fish and chips in the courtyard garden.
There’s plenty to occupy the whole family in and around Felixstowe. The beach (50 metres) is perfect for strolls, sunbathing or swimming, while the old town’s golf course (3.5 miles) enjoys uninterrupted sea views. The Suffolk Coast & Heaths aonb (4 miles) is a great place to reconnect with nature, and you can eat and shop to your heart’s content in the riverside town of Woodbridge (14 miles).

Great winter getaway by the sea. Accommodation warm, light and airy. Plenty of room for a family of 6, close to amenities, the pier, cafes etc.

Excellent location within walking distance of town, beach, heritage sites and viewpoint across docks. The property was exceptionally clean and comfortable and made a great base to catch up with friends. Will look forward to returning!

We have hired 4 different properties through Suffolk Secrets in this location and all have been in an ideal location and of a good standard. Of the 4, this would probably be my least favourite as it is a bit smaller than the other properties in the same block, but I think a bit dearer than the others. It is advertised to accommodate 6 people and there is bedding for 6, but I think because of the layout of the living room that also has the dining table in, you would struggle to get 6 adults around the table. We also found there was no information pack in the property which has always been available in the other Suffolk Secrets rentals which gives you details and instructions for the appliances, local attractions, waste disposal and recycling etc etc.. We normally rent a property at this location each year as we have family in the area, so that said it would not stop me from renting again if non of the other 3 properties were not available. The issues I mention are not complaints just constructive feedback. If you are looking for a holiday rental with kids, this is an ideal location with a play area right in front of the property and then the sea and pebble beach just beyond that.
