About this property

Felixstowe is a charming former coastal spa town with a rich history spanning many years with famous faces visiting in its Victorian heyday. Landguard Fort is an impressive Grade I listed, well-preserved fort that sits on the southern peninsula, just a mile from this holiday home, and has a beautiful nature reserve and viewpoint overlooking the sea. Closer to the town centre, there is a thriving seaside high street that is lined with excellent fish and chip shops, amusements, ice cream parlours, the pier, and the seafront gardens. A challenging yet beautiful golf course is situated in Old Felixstowe, just 3.5 miles away and a great course for keen golfers. A little further along takes you to Felixstowe Ferry where you can catch a small boat across to Bawdsey Quay and explore this pretty little village. The riverside town of Woodbridge is nearby too (14 miles) and a must-visit during your stay.

This stylish three-storey townhouse has extensive views from the east side overlooking the charming beach huts and sea and is ideally located to access all Felixstowe has to offer. Directly between the house and beach is a children’s splash park and South Kiosk for coffee and ice creams.  This sleeps six holiday home is so welcoming and has plenty of space for everyone to enjoy. As you step inside, there is a ground floor sitting room /children’s play room (As well as a cloakroom), well equipped with puzzles, books and board games to entertain all ages.  The kitchen has ample storage and plenty of equipment for your self-catering stay as well as a large dining table with seating for six and French doors that lead outside. Upstairs, to the first floor, takes you to the sitting room that has a lovely Juliette balcony for watching boats sail by as well as a Smart TV and electric wood burner effect fire for those chillier days. The first of the bedrooms is on this floor too and hosts a double bed with the use of a private cloakroom. Upstairs again takes you to the top floor where there are the remaining two bedrooms. Both are king-size bedrooms with one offering an en-suite shower room and completing this property is the family bathroom.

French doors from the kitchen lead out to the raised wooden veranda with steps down to an enclosed courtyard with an outside dining table and chairs, perfectly equipped for alfresco dining. As this space is east facing, it is a lovely spot to watch the sunrise with your morning cup of coffee too. Beach toys, beach mat, rug and cool bag are all available for guests convenience.

Extensive sea views from terrace, kitchen diner, sitting room and top bedroom and such close proximity to the beach makes it the perfect holiday location for both adults and children.
