What was once the former cattle shed for the farm has now been exquisitely renovated to provide a luxurious countryside rural retreat in the heart of Suffolk.

Imagine star gazing from your superking Hypnos cashmere bed, your morning coffee in front of the Esse Bakeheart stove, warm summer evenings on your private veranda in front of the BBQ firepit and unspoilt views across the fields to the village church. A sense of calm and relaxation is immediately felt when you arrive here, and every little detail has been lovingly thought of to ensure you have the most enjoyable stay.

To fully relax, perhaps you would like to enjoy an evening around the firepit BBQ in the comfort of The Cowshed. Take a stroll through the 4 acres of gardens and woodland, picnic in the woods or stop by at the courtyard to cook and create homemade pizzas using the outdoor oven and seasonal ingredients from the kitchen garden. Whatever you choose to do here, you will have a fabulous stay.

From Easter 2022 you can relax under the stars in your own private wood fired soaking tub, listening to the breeze in the trees.  The owners also have little extras they can offer for you to do on site to make your stay extra special.  You can hire a pizza oven, book to use the Spa area/Sauna, hire bikes, pick fresh veggies/eggs or just sit back and watch the birds and clouds in the sky - please email direct to the owners: info@thefirssuffolk.co.uk to book the Spa, bikes or pizza oven in advance, and as much notice as possible will be appreciated.

Other: Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels provided. Please note this property is within the grounds of other holiday cottages and the owners house, with shared access to the spa facilities, pizza oven and grounds. There is a shared laundry room with access to a washing machine and tumble dryer. Please note the holiday units do not have TVs. To use the spa facilities, you can book your Private Spa Day for an additional fee, where you will have sole use of the sauna, outside wood fired hot tub, outside shower, inside shower and changing facilities, spa towels.
