About the Property: Church View is a self-catering cottage located in the rural village of Bruisyard. It presents beautifully with designer fabrics by Vanessa Arbuthnot, Designers Guild and Liberty and fabulous accessories from around the world. The characterful beams and woodburning stove make this property super cosy in the winter with a lovely rear garden perfect for summer’s evening drinks. The cottage as a well-equipped, cottage style kitchen which is great for preparing meals and will provide all your self-catering needs.

This property is ideal for: Anyone who loves bird song and stargazing in the beautiful Suffolk landscape. A family with children or group of friends would be more than comfortable here; both king size bedrooms can be set up with 2”6 twin beds and the additional attic bedroom has a further 2”6 bed. If you love peace and quiet in beautiful surroundings this is the property for you.

Exploring: Church View is in a stunning village which is a true escape from hectic modern life so there are plenty of country walks to enjoy. The pretty market town of Framlingham is only a short distance away and provides all the amenities you will require; it is also a great place to explore with the famous Framlingham Castle standing proudly looking over the town. Bruisyard is a great base from which to explore both the coastline and countryside; located between Lowestoft and Ipswich, the beautiful coastline is less than 20 miles from the property and Bury St Edmunds is about 40 miles which is also a great day out.

Self-catering: Framlingham can provide most amenities during your stay but if you are looking for a larger supermarket, the market town of Saxmundham provides both a Waitrose and Tesco. Framlingham has a twice-weekly market where you can purchase fresh fish to cheese and pies and is well worth a visit.

Eating and Drinking Out: Bruisyard Village hall holds a regular ‘Pub Night’ every Wednesday and the nearby villages have some lovely pubs; The White Horse at Badingham and the Sibton White Horse are both lovely local pubs serving fantastic food. The Crown in Framlingham has a gastro-pub set up which offers great lunch and evening menus.
