If the weather allows, then step out onto the terrace where you can enjoy eating and drinking time alfresco even closer to the stunning lake. After a hard day of exploring the surrounding area, you’ll be ready for bed, so take your pick from two king-sizes and two twins. Pay a visit to towns such as Dunwich, Southwold, Orford and Saxmundham and have a browse around some fabulous independent shops and enjoy some fantastic local food and beer at the same time! Thorpeness is a coastal village resting between Aldeburgh and Southwold. The village is known for its historic windmill and expansive pebble beach and offers a selection of attractions including boat hire at Thorpeness Mere and selection of eateries, while you can stock up on essentials at the nearby convenience stores found at Aldeburgh. Within easy reach of the village is the popular coastal town of Aldeburgh where you can find further attractions and amenities such as another beach, independent shops and coastal walks.
