About this property

A beautiful mid-Victorian townhouse sleeping eight guests, Yolande House rests in the fashionable seaside town of Aldeburgh, Suffolk, and is perfect for a family or group of adults looking to explore the coast. Park beside the property and marvel at the historic exterior before heading indoors and making yourself at home in the second-floor sitting room, warming your feet beside the open fire and planning the day ahead of you, whilst large windows are framed by yellow and blue décor. The kitchen/diner can be found on the ground floor and is set across two levels, with a number of steps leading down from the stylish dining area into the kitchen, a great spacious place to cook as a family, or there is the option of dining outdoors in the fantastic courtyard garden with furniture and shrubs for you to enjoy. Four bedrooms can be found across several storeys, including a first-floor single, a first-floor twin, a third-floor king-size and finally a fourth-floor king-size with an en-suite, leaving you spoilt for choice. Settled into Aldeburgh, this property is close to local amenities and attractions, beginning with the bustling high street, where you will find delightful independent shops and a great variety of eateries. An extensive pebble beach spreads across the shoreline, allowing guests to enjoy a variety of activities in the salty air, including family picnics, walks, watersports and wild swimming. Explore the local history in Aldeburgh’s museum or enjoy scenic walks in the Haven Nature Reserve and Snape path. Travel a little further to the village of Orford where a fantastic local castle awaits. Love the seaside of Suffolk with a stay at Yolande House.

The popular, vibrant seaside town of Aldeburgh is famous for its culture, traditional feel and one of the best fish and chip shops in the country! Aldeburgh and Snape Maltings are home to one of the world’s greatest music festivals and has been named as one of the top 50 places to live in Britain. Crag Path runs along the seafront dividing the beautiful pebbly beach from the unspoilt pastel-coloured seafront properties and the town. The beach is a popular place for groups and couples to enjoy the wonderful fish and chips throughout the summer months. The town is steeped in history and has become a wonderful town for shopping with a good mixture of independent and chain stores to enjoy. The town also offers a good selection of pubs and restaurants or why not buy some freshly caught fish from the huts on the seafront and cook up your own feast at home. For those wishing for a more action-packed holiday there is excellent walking, cycling, sailing and golf at Aldeburgh. Growing in popularity you will want to return to Aldeburgh again and again!

However radiators need bleeding. Place could do with a bit of a deep clean and microwave cut the house out twice. Main 2 hobs also won't fire Property is great just needs some little tweaks to make it brilliant. Arriving to find a Christmas tree up was brilliant

Worse of all the Hive heating is set to 16 rather than 20 as per the house manual. Waking up to a cold house and spending the day constantly overriding the Hive was a major inconvenience. Kitchen scissors would be useful. Having the router in a cupboard on the lowest floor means signal is regularly lost.
