The cottage is tastefully furnished with a nautical theme helping to remind guests how close they are to the beach! The delightful sitting room welcomes visitors in with a generous seating area, a woodburner, a TV and a cabinet full of games, so there’s always something to do at Tuckaway Cottage. The rustic kitchen has what is needed for the designated chef to rustle up tasty food for the rest of the holiday party and there is a wooden table for guests to pull up a chair and tuck into hearty meals together while catching up on holiday news. A conveniently placed shower room on the ground-floor is ideal for washing away the sand after an enjoyable day at the beach. Upstairs are three warm and welcoming bedrooms, which all continue with the nautical theme and offer a relaxing oasis of calm for guests. The beauty of Tuckaway Cottage is its wonderful location just minutes from both the beach and the high street of Aldeburgh, where you will be able to spend time browsing the shops, discovering the brightly coloured beach huts for which the town is known and stopping off for a delicious meal at any of a number of popular eateries in the area. A scenic walk along the coast is the chocolate-box village of Thorpeness and Aldeburgh Marshes are also great for a hike rewarded with some great views along the way. Snape Maltings is a must-visit when you’re staying in Aldeburgh with its famous concert hall and curated collection of shops and boutiques. If you want a day out a bit further afield then jump in the car and head off for Framlingham Castle, Adnams Brewery, Halesworth Museum, Go Ape Thetford, Somerleyton Hall and Bewilderwood. If you enjoy a round of golf then there are a number of great courses at Aldeburgh, Thorpeness, Southwold and Friston. A hidden gem in the heart of the vibrant town of Aldeburgh, Tuckaway Cottage is a must-visit.

Aldeburgh and Snape Maltings are home to one of the world’s greatest music festivals and has been named as one of the top 50 places to live in Britain. Crag Path runs along the seafront dividing the beautiful pebbly beach from the unspoilt pastel-coloured seafront properties and the town. The beach is a popular place for groups and couples to enjoy the wonderful fish and chips throughout the summer months. The town is steeped in history and has become a wonderful town for shopping with a good mixture of independent and chain stores to enjoy. The town also offers a good selection of pubs and restaurants or why not buy some freshly caught fish from the huts on the seafront and cook up your own feast at home. For those wishing for a more action-packed holiday there is excellent walking, cycling, sailing and golf at Aldeburgh. Growing in popularity you will want to return to Aldeburgh again and again!
