Ground floor and with on-road parking, unpack into this coastal townhouse apartment, resting amongst a row of historical properties in a rainbow of colours. Put your feet up in the sitting room and enjoy the view as you recline in a stylish selection of sofas with a backdrop of blue walls, and there is a welcoming woodburning stove for the colder months. With contemporary décor, the kitchen/diner creates a fantastic spot for cooking together, and in the evenings why not enjoy a glass of wine on the balcony? As the day draws to a close, enjoy a refreshing bath before settling down for the night in one of the three bedrooms, including two king-size, one with a handy en-suite, and a twin, each with storage for your belongings. Aldeburgh is a stunning seaside town with a lot to offer guests, beginning with the fantastic pebble beach just a short walk from the property, where walks in the salty air can be enjoyed, or you can take to the waves in a kayak or even dare to wild swim! Within the town there are many independent shops to explore before enjoying home made cuisine in one of the many eateries, or simply taking in the view with an ice cream or fish and chips on the beach. Aldeburgh has access to two great walks at the Haven Nature Reserve and Snape Path, however if you travel a little further from the town you will find many more attractions including the rural village of Orford with its wonderful castle. Make a holiday to remember with a stay at Sea Tower.

The popular, vibrant seaside town of Aldeburgh is famous for its culture, traditional feel and one of the best fish and chip shops in the country! Aldeburgh and Snape Maltings are home to one of the world’s greatest music festivals and has been named as one of the top 50 places to live in Britain. Crag Path runs along the seafront dividing the beautiful pebbly beach from the unspoilt pastel-coloured seafront properties and the town. The beach is a popular place for groups and couples to enjoy the wonderful fish and chips throughout the summer months. The town is steeped in history and has become a wonderful town for shopping with a good mixture of independent and chain stores to enjoy. The town also offers a good selection of pubs and restaurants or why not buy some freshly caught fish from the huts on the seafront and cook up your own feast at home. For those wishing for a more action-packed holiday there is excellent walking, cycling, sailing and golf at Aldeburgh. Growing in popularity you will want to return to Aldeburgh again and again!

The location and panorama are fabulous and we love the wall art! It is a comfortable flat and the log burner is a real bonus. Highly recommend! I would be happy to have the above comment published as it is a great property but - for the property owner - there are a few minor things that need attention. I would share these directly with the owner if I had the contact details: Under cupboard light gone just above fridge Fan in ensuite makes a weird noise Shower in ensuite was beyond me to comprehend The entrance to the property really does need a light - its hard to see in that alleyway and there are steep steps. Finally on this occasion, the view from the main bedroom was considerably spoiled by the scaffolding - I have taken a photo which I am happy to share. There weren't just poles but also yellow gates which obscured the view entirely.

While I understand things happen, no one worked on the house in the 2 weeks we were there and the sea view from the master bed was completely blocked. They offered a 10% discount which is a joke considering the cost of the rental. The lack of clothes washing provision was an issue and should be considered, especially when there are 2 redundant balconies. The living room was the saving Grace with lovely views.

Very quiet location. The kitchen had everything we needed to self-cater, and was nice and big for four people, with more than enough crockery and glassware. Lovely comfy sofas - love the light fitting in the living room. My only negative comment is that the door for the ensuite bathroom has clear glass panels rather than frosted glass, so not very private. Just seems a bit odd to me. I'd recommend the Lighthouse Restaurant, excellent service and lovely food and wine.
